To follow up on my last article in which I asked, “What can we do?” there are many venues and areas of expertise that one can get involved.

One such concept is of technology and its service that can be provided in Africa in more tangible and accessible ways.

While even in Africa it takes resources, both financial and structural, the idea presented in White African’s article about using web technology via handheld devices and Wireless Access Providers (specifically the use of cell phones, which are popping up all over the place, and in areas one would least expect it) is groundbreaking and a good step in the right direction towards making a difference.

Creative juices flowing, there are a lot of options to utilize talent and resources aquired abroad. White African is right on.

Featured on reddit.com and several other African blog networks, we begin to see the type of ideas and investments that can and should, and hopefully will, begin to make a difference.
